This is a picture of the Atlantic ocean located between Africa and South America. It is the second largest ocean in the world. The climate in the ocean mostly varies between moderate and less extreme seasonal changes. Precipitation can be determined by the temperature of the water and he air.
Plants that live in this biome are salt tolerant like cord grass, salt marsh hay, and eel grasses. Animals in this biome can mostly not be seen by a naked human eye but there are large animals like the baleen whale, snails, crabs, and shrimp.

Although not many plants can grow because there isn't much light available at the bottom of the freshwater biomes, cattails, water onions and Nymohoides aquatica can be found in many freshwater biomes in the world. Compared to the plants, animals adapt better and are more diverse. In freshwater biomes, you can find tadpoles, turtles, minnows, bluegills, carps and many more.
Almost all lakes and ponds are freshwater biomes. The picture below is of Diamond Valley Lake. Surfaces of freshwater biomes tend to be warm but colder, below the surface and receive 25-203cm of precipitation annually.
